Taliaferro short shifter for 9000 93-98

Short throw shifter package developed to reduce shift throws and improve shifter precision. Replaces the factory plastic and spring pars with a custom designed spherical bearing. This custom bearing allows enough angular movement of the shaft to eliminate binding at the extents of travel. Throw is reduced from 5in to 3-3/8 inches. The Knob height is unchanged as is the reverse lift up etc. Supplied with an easily adjustable 5th/rev guide plate. This enables quick and painless fine tuning of that function. Supplied as an exchange shifter housing. You reuse your existing Knob, boot etc. Normally requires no under-hood adjustments on install even! Supplied with grease fitting accessible under the shift boot for long life. It is recommended for best experience to be used with the Poly transmission mount for best shifting.
